and imposing 12th century farmhouse,
its annexes and a small church situated in the Chianti
Classico area (about 500 m a.s.l.). 5 km
Castellina in Chianti (all kinds of shops, tennis),
25 km Siena, 65 km Florence (airport). From the swimming
pool is a broad view with the towers
of San Gimignano in the distance. Pleasant
and peaceful position set amidst the olive trees and
vineyards. Shared: pretty and equipped garden that
is well cared for and full of flowers, swimming pool
(6x12, 1.20-1.90 m deep) (1/5-30/10), shower (cold
water), small sun-trap terrace and pergola near the
swimming pool, loggia with table tennis, boules pitch.
The three apartments of the main house can be made
to communicate. Comfortable furnishings with rustic
style furniture. Covered parking in the property 80
m from the houses. Access along 2.5 km of dirt track
road not recommended for low riding cars. You can
purchase wine and olive oil produced locally and it
is possible to have a laundry service on the spot
(upon payment). Weekly cleaning of bathrooms. Central
heating. Baby-beds available.
In the main house (210 m2). 1st fl.: entrance from
an typical and original loggia (10 m2), large kitchen/dining
room (table for 12 people, oven, freezer, dishwasher)
with fireplace, spacious living room (stereo) with
fireplace. In the ancient tower: small dining room
(table for 7 people), 2 large double bedrooms with
desk and armchair of which one has an overhead gallery
with a double bed (overhead gallery wall is low and
is low accessed by a stairway without a handrail),
armchair and small balcony open over dining area.
Antechamber with wardrobes, 1 bathroom with bath (no
window), 1 bathroom with shower (no window), WC. Large
sized beds. Two movable pull-out beds are available.
