The origins of the Tuscan Castello
di Cabbiavoli date back to the early 13th
century. It was a residence of the
Conti Alberti until the end of the 16th century
and then it was transfromed into a noble villa. The
ancient 13th century tower still remains intact with
a fresco representing the Virgin Mary. The recent
restoration of this prestigious residence has brought
back to life its ancient splendor without
having altered its archectural characteristics, while
at the same time enriching it with all the modern
conveniences.
