The
magnificent castle of the Aluffi
Pentini family provides guests several separate farmers'
houses divided into a combination of apartments with one or
two bedrooms, living room and kitchenette, plus six characteristically
appointed bedrooms with country forniture.
Rooms facing out have absolutely breathtaking views over the
virgin valley. Downstairs is the dining room with wood tables
covered with cherry checked cloths, where
breakfast and dinner are served using homegrown products.
The estate produces superb ORCIA DOC WINE and extravirgin
olive oil (which are served to visitors and are also for sale).
- In the Historic houses which have comprised the Borgo, from
1990 there are EIGHT large apartments (self-catering,
residence type, 45/47 sqm large):
composed by large living room with cooking
facilities, open fireplace, one or two double rooms,
private bathroom/shower, sitting room, panoramic views, safe,
indipendent heating, terrace (apts 5 e 6), rustic furniture
in Tuscan style, cotto floors and beamed ceilings.
