B&B is facetiously named after “Uncle
Felice”, the ancient forefather who,
at the beginning of the XX century, lived in this
medieval palace in San Donato, and whose
romantic portrait has outlived the time. The origins
of the small pretty village San Donato
in Poggio date back to the XII century. During the
medieval time it has been one of the |

Commons of the “Chianti League”, and the
far-end-bulwark of the Florentine territory, in the
long and ancient war against the city Siena. His position
was geographically strategic in the past and so it
is now: just in the middle between two wonderful cities,
Firenze and Siena, both rich of art
and history, and just in the heart of one of the most
famous countryside in the world, which is mother of
the tasty, agreeable “Chianti Classico”
