 MELOGRANI
B&B is a traditional Bed & Breakfast run
by a friendly Anglo/Italian family in the original part of
an old 18th Century family villa. I MELOGRANI
is in the countryside surrounded by an instantly recognisable
Tuscany landscape of olive trees, vine groves and
sunflowers. The villa is at the end of a quiet country road
five minutes by car from the local town Empoli,
where the station provides a frequent and reliable
service to all major Tuscan cities. Florence 25 mins,
Siena 1 hour, Lucca 45 mins, Pisa 45 mins and 1 hour only
to the beaches of Versilia. The B&B is in the heart of
Tuscany, a perfect position for touring all the famous historical
towns by car or train. A car is recommended as it allows unparalleled
freedom on your trip and lets you see (and dawdle around in)
the smaller villages and hill towns of Tuscany. The large
hallway of I MELOGRANI serves as a large breakfast
room where breakfast is served between 7.30-9.30.
There is a kitchen leading off from the breakfast room where
guests are welcome to leave food and drink in the fridge.
There is a lovely garden behind the villa
with chairs and tables with views over the coutryside and
small lake. Guests are welcome to eat in the garden or breakfast
room if they wish. Guests can also use the washing machine
in this kitchen area.
